Sometimes, all a person who feels constant stress needs, especially in the conditions of war, is someone who can take on a part of the moral tension and find the right words. It can be difficult for police officers to carry all the accumulated negativity and aggression. Some of them bring it into their families, causing their loved ones to suffer as well. There is often a thin line between good and evil, justice and crime. This is why police officers in any country need help and support. Thanks to chaplains, the police officers in our country not only receive pastoral care but also have reliable friends.
Currently, about 24,000 employees serve in the structure of the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine, ensuring the execution of criminal sentences involving imprisonment. Thanks to cooperation with the public organization “Chaplain Patrol” and during joint meetings between chaplains and employees of correctional institutions, communication has been established, and several issues regarding support for the personnel of these institutions have been discussed. A series of events have been planned to promote the spiritual development of staff, motivate them through improved working conditions, and encourage participation in interagency activities with other law enforcement units.
The leadership and personnel of the Territorial Administration of the Court Security Service in the Rivne region sincerely express their gratitude to the Public Formation “Chaplain Patrol” for their joint cooperation, interaction, and support. Over the past period, during which we stood side by side, many significant deeds have been accomplished, but much still lies ahead. In this challenging time for our country, we are all united and consolidated by a common goal in the fight against the Russian enemy, so we do not give up, we act decisively, and we stand firmly by each other!
The employees of the State Emergency Service (SES) are heroes without weapons; they are among the first to arrive at the sites of missile strikes: clearing debris from shells, extinguishing fires, and dismantling rubble. As practice shows, it is difficult for rescuers to handle all this negativity on their own. Therefore, the need for spiritual support and God’s blessing is constantly growing. Chaplaincy activities are specifically aimed at supporting the emergency responders and their families. So, together with the Chaplains, side by side, in close cooperation, we will go through the crucible of war and achieve the long-awaited victory.
